Scenario 2
Last Evening i was interestingly watching TV where my favourite hero Bear Grylls adventuring Patagonia...
My Daughter, kindled by her mother, was drawing the Theme picuture of recent a Family event conducted by my organisation....
Once she finished, she ran to me & tried to drive my attention towards her drawing & need my appreciation...
but, as usually, i was not paying her attention.... my wife watching this told me "why cant you look at her drawing??" i suddenly recognised & put a V.good in her slate & praised her with a kiss...
suddenly she become happy & left. After a while i can notice she erased the slate & made a still better drawing.... and came back & showed it to me... this time i put a VVV good & a Star in her slate, she proudly showed to her mom, grand dad....
the night i was thinking of this before i go to sleep.... " For me her drawing is a simple thing, but for her my appreciation was very big & provoked her to perfection", i tried to miss this & fortunately my wife drove my attention to her. this kind of a incident can happen in almost all homes, but in an organisation, when a newcomer shows a small achievement, which can be something we achieved long back, we just dont care to look at it... not cultivating thier mind & guide them to perfection...!!!???
Also, we often say
1. " do you know, i did it very long back"
2." do you know, my boss was even tougher to me, when i was in your position"
3."Do you know, in my previous company, i did bla...bla...bla.."
instead of these, we can listen to them as we listen to our kids & we should be happy as we listen to thier nursery rhymes, 2 tables, etc,. They will also be happy & DEFINITELY ACHIEVE.
need to write....

My First BLOG...
Not only inspired by reading the blogs of my guru (the most respectable person in my life) for more than a year,
i believe that writing will relieve my unspoken stresses....
So I decided to write(type!!!) without worrying about my grammar....
Questioning matrix
Scenario 1 :
A Middle manager discussing with his subordinate about a problem happenend previous day in the plant...
He drills down the issue to understand the root cause (by typical why why analysis method)....
A senior manager jumps in suddenly & kept on questioning the ML manager & finally left the place with a question "why you dont perform as good as a group company???"
Is this the right way for a boss to corner his reportee by asking a question, much complex to the previous question???
The Subordinate watching this told the mid-level manger " i can feel the difference between you & your boss, he tries to move out without providing a solution & you put me questions to uproot the root causes"
The MLM remembered, standing before his Big boss, clueless about many day to day issues. He was heated, embrassed amidst the team several times.....
After the unexpected comparison, from his Junior, with his Boss, He was thrilled....
He felt proud to say that he dont have answers for most of his Boss's Questions, but he can provide solutions for all of his Juniors problem.....(if he is given time???)
Any worst condition can turn back if all Bosses think, " My Role is to decomplicate & make my juniors to achieve their goals", but most think, "What answers i can get from my Subordinate to answer my Boss???"
I can strongly conclude, A boss should have enough Courage(GUTS) to spend time with his subordinates to understand thier problems & spend most of his time to provide solutions only.....
But unfortunately many MLM's today are spending thier valuable time for finding answers for thier Boss's question rather than struggling hard to solve real time problems...while they love to do the later even though they miss thier family for the sake of their commitment....
Between, one day i will also become a Senior manager. the lesson i learned from the scenario is
"My questions to my team should be giving me Tasks & definitely they are not my Boss's Question"
